Being an Energy Intuitive is quite an unusual job! As a result, I have had many interesting questions posed to me about what I do. The most frequently asked question is about distance healing. It goes something like this, “How can you possibly work with someone when they aren’t even there?” Well, in fact, the client is most definitely present with me, as I am present with the clientjust not in the physical body! How can that be? Let me explain.
About 99% of the time we tend to identify ourselves with the physical worldthat is, our physical bodies and the visual world around us. Our wonderful brains tell us that this is the truth of our existence. But every once in a while, we have a sense that there is much more than what we simply look like on the outside, or what we think on the inside. We have an intuition that this physical world is only the tip of the ice berg. That intuition is your soul calling to you!
The truth of who we are really lies within our bodies and beyond our minds, to a place where our eternal soul dwells. That infinite place is beyond space and time, where miracles are born and healing takes place. An energy intuitive has the ability to connect soul to soul and heart to heart with a client, and work in this wonderful world where spirit resides. He/she acts as a facilitator for that client’s self healing.
In my particular practice, I offer telephone sessions for clients who are unable to meet with me in person. I ask them to prepare a quiet space for the session where they will not be interrupted. At the onset of our appointment, we will make initial contact, and talk about the focus for the session. I then call upon my higher guidance, in the form of the celestial realm, ascended masters, wise ones, and my own personal guides to work as a team to help my client with their particular problem. I ask that the session be for the highest good for the client. I also pray to be the facilitator for the healing session and ask that I may hold this sacred space with safety and trust. At that point, I begin to meet my client in the spirit realm where healing takes place. I begin to see the client’s body lying on my treatment table, and I know I am ready to begin.
After the session comes to a close, the client and I discuss what has transpired. We talk about the next steps to take, and we arrange a time to connect by phone for any follow-up questions. Most phone clients report that they feel as though I am right in the room with them. And in many ways I am.
Some helpful things to remember if you choose distance healing work: Make sure you trust your facilitator. Talk to them ahead of time and get a sense of their energy. Do you feel safe? Ask them what the follow-up will be to the session. Since they are not there in the physical body, it is nice to know they will be available in the future if you have questions about the session. Also, as with any healing work, make sure that during the session you feel empowered to make choices of your own free will. You will know this to be true if your heart sings to the answers.
I truly enjoy distance healing work, and have had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people from so many interesting places. I am so thankful that I can offer them the touch that healsfrom a distance!
